On 10/6/2022, Customers have notified RWU that someone is impersonating RWU staff and requesting payment for delinquent bills over the phone. This is a scam. RWU will NEVER call a customer to either ask for or demand payment over the phone.

Customers report that someone has spoofed our phone number to perpetrate scams on people with phone numbers in our area code.

RWU may send an automated voice message or text notifying you of a late bill, but never solicit and receive a payment over the phone.

Our only payment options are:

1. Online payments at www.rwu.org 
2. By calling our automated phone line at 877-469-2524
3. At our office via in person or drop box
