Unfulfilled Extensions
This fee is assessed if an extension is granted and the past due bill is not paid by the extended due date.
Fee for unfulfilled extensions: $40
Unauthorized Use
The unauthorized use fee is assessed when water had been used illegally. This includes:
- Use of water prior to setting or activating the meter
- Meter tampering of any kind
- Illegally diverting water
Unauthorized use may result in suspension of service
Fee to be assessed for unauthorized use: $100
Returned/Rejected Payments
Returned or rejected payments (checks or electronic debit) will be assessed a $35.00 service fee.
Delinquent/Noncompliance Turn-off Service
A fee is applied when service is turned off as a result of an unresolved returned item.
Fee for service disruption: $40
Late payment fee
A fee of 10% of the balance is assessed the day after the due date.
Additional fees are assessed if the account remains past due one week after the due date.
